About Us

The AGIC was established this year by a group of young Italian-Canadians who recognized a short-fall within their community in regards to the lines of communication between established and the future community leaders. Over the past few months we have worked diligently at making and maintaining contacts with organizations not only in the GTA but abroad and we look forward to aiding in sharing valuable opportunities to become more involved in the Italian-Canadian community to all our members!

Our Vision

The AGIC hopes to facilitate the adaptation of a contemporary Italian-Canadian identity, which will remain rooted in the customs and ideals of Italian culture, while being tailored to the parameters of its Canadian context. To promote this establishment the AGIC hopes to create opportunities for young adults to become better informed as to the happenings within the Italian-Canadian community and to make available opportunities for networking, community building and accessibility to information in regards to initiatives and incentives provided by both local and international organizations.
